Wellness Water Filters - Carafe Water Jug Starter Kit (includes 1 cartridge)

Great colour the product looks stylish - it is bigger than any jug I have purchased before and so reduces the amount of refills - I am very happy with the product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a better quality of water filtration.

I'm on my third jug now in so many years. Trouble is the part of the jug the filter sits in isn't made of thick/strong enough plastic and cracks easily so water gets through without being filtered. However, double bind is I don't know what other jug would hold that size of filter. Filters themselves are top of the range in terms of filtering out the nasties. (Recommended by Hippocrates Institute in Florida). Water tastes great, but the jug itself needs improving....

This Carafe is for my mother as I already own one, tap water contains metals inimical to health the Wellness filter for me restores that spring fresh water taste with its multi layer filtering system and pH balance.

I have no complaints about the filters. They do their job.However the carafe is very poorly made:1.The dark colour makes it difficult to see through, whixh is a nuisance.2. The way the filter fits into it means that there is quite a distance from the bottom of the filter to the bottom of the carafe so quite a lot of water has to be in it at any one time for the filter base to be submerged (wg=hich is necessary so that it doesn't dry out). This too is a nuisance if you don't like your water to be standing in the carafe for any longer than necessary, don't use enough to empty it frequently but at the same time don't want to throw the water away to get fresh water into it.3. The design of the carafe is very bad. The lid fits on clumsily so that the front end lifts up if you put your thumb on the bit that fits over the handle, which one tends to do when pouring.4. The spout has square edges rather than the usual rounded shape, which is best for good pouring5. It seems to be cheaply and shoddily constructed.As I already had an old Brita filter jug that fits the Classic filters, I have found that the Wellness filters fit into this perfectly well. The Brita is a well designed jug and has none of the faults of the Wellness Carafe, so I use this with the new filters.

Good quality product good value

You can actually taste the difference in the water. Highly recommended and very easy to set up. It feels expensive but has replaced our normal water bottles purchase.
