Fisher-Price Octonauts Tweak's Octo Max Suit

I purchased this for my 4 yr old son because he has been getting on me about getting it for him to add to his Octonaut collection.When he got this he was so excited. This octo suit is much of the same as the Kwazii's Octo Max Suit, different color and different handle on the arm part. This Octo suit has a little rocket launcher that shoots 4 little neon orange carrots. For you parents when i say rocket launcher this doesn't mean this toy will shot your eye out, oh no this shooter is shot with a little air when you push the little button and the carrots don't get enough pressure to shoot more than a few inches. If your kids love octonauts or love the toys this is a perfect addition for your kids collection or even a great toy for them to have.. (Do keep in mind that the carrots are very small and if your kids love to swallow or chew on things than i would suggest not to purchase this toy for them)

My son has all of the Octonaut GUPs and this Octo Max suit. He loves to watch the episodes and play with the characters and the GUPs as they appear in each episode. Highly recommend this or any of the other Octonaut GUPs for your little Octonaut fan. They are good quality toys, keep my kids entertained even when the show is not on, and allow them to play out scenes and use their imaginations. My son likes this so much he wants the Kwazii version of the Octo Max Suit so he and his brother can each have one. We are currently waiting for the GUP-S Polar Exploration Vehicle to become available for purchase in the United States and the Deep Sea Octo Lab is currently on the Xmas wish list :-)

I bought this for my 3 & 4 year old son & daughter & they both love it. It’s made well and the little octonaut that comes with it is so adorable.The carrots were lost on the first day but I expected that.They didn’t shoot out very well & I don’t know if thats because it was meant to be played with in the water or not.I do not let them put it in the tub.For me it’s a great buy-very sturdy toy.

My 3 year old daughter LOVES the Octonauts! We have all the Gups and characters, so thought this would be a pretty cool addition to the collection. The suit is fully pose-able, and will fit any figure inside its "cockpit". The gripper claw will hold creatures (and the occasional Octonaut or Disney Magiclip princess, by a limb, whoops) and it's fairly easy for a preschooler to open/shut on his/her own. The Octo-alert button is also easy to manipulate, and the toy has about 3-6 (? it seems like 6 to me, anyway) noises that it makes. The carrot launcher is activated by pushing a spring-button on the back of the suit. The launcher itself will "launch" carrots about 6 inches max, and it's air-propelled....but my daughter was unable to get the carrots to launch on her own. The carrots themselves would probably get lost, since they're about and inch long or so, and I can see a more adventurous child trying to stick them up his/her nostrils or in his/her ears. That said, I'm holding on to the carrots until she's older, but she doesn't seem to mind. This toy is also not intended for water play (like the Gup X), so let your child know this before he/she tries to submerge it. If it were water-play safe and the carrots weren't so small as to look like they'd fit in a nostril or ear, then I'd give it 5 stars. She's happy with it, but it doesn't get as much play time as her Gups.

The carrots don't secure or shoot at all, they just kind sit in the green piece and fall right out. That is the only negative thing I have to say about this toy. My son loves octonauts and was thriller to get this for easter. He plays with this with his other octonait toys often, but we did love the carrot pieces since they don't stay in unfortunately

All three of my kids love this toy!! I have a 10 yr old girl and 2 boys under six, and they basically fight over who gets to play with it. My kids are pretty darn good at sharing toys, but it's like Hunger Games for kids with this thing, I'm pretty sure eventually we'll have an army of OctoMax suits in our house, just to make sure they each have there own. It's that good.

Don't buy this if the carrot launcher is what appeals to you as I did. My 3 y/o son LOVED the "slime disk launcher" on one of the other toys, so I bought this to give him something new to launch. Um...jokes. The carrots are supposed to be propelled by a burst of air that's made by pressing a little accordion button, but no matter how hard you push it, the carrots just fall out of the little chamber. My son got extremely frustrated trying to get it to work.

This was a gift for someone else. When I gave them the gift and they opened it up, they were disappointed in the carrot launcher part of this item. It doesn't launch the carrots very far.

Muy chulo tiene sonidos. Mi hijo colecciona estos vehículos de esta serie y están muy bien acabados. Buen juguete, recomendable.

Mein Sohn ist mit seinen etwas mehr als 4,5 Jahren schon locker seit 2 Jahren großer Oktonauten-Fan.Er spielt ganze Episoden nach oder erfindet eigene Oktoabenteuer. Auch die Oma muss mit ran und hat als zweiten Namen schon "Trixi" bekommen.Der Oktomatikanzug ist toll, per Knopf kann man wieder Geräusche auslösen, unter anderem Bewegungs- und Hüpfgeräusche sowie den Oktoalarm.Die Schussfunktion mit den Möhren ist kein Spektakel und für meinen Sohn unspannend. Also für alle Eltern, die deswegen Bedenken haben, würde ich entwarnen genauso wie die Schleimscheiben-Schussfunktion bei der Guppy-X.Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass man den Anzug nicht mit in die Badewanne nehmen kann wegen der Batterie.Bei uns kommen nur die Guppy A, B und D ins Badewasser. Und dann auch nur ohne Badezusätze.Ich würde jederzeit wieder zugreifen.

Since we've got almost every gup already, at first I wasn't sure if this was something that would add anything new to the collection (and ever growing clutter of toys) for our 4yr-old. Boy was I wrong, this was great! An instant hit! Different than the gups but still fits an Octonaut chatacter, has sounds, a funny carror launcher (a weak-enough air pump, no fear of launching into one's eye!), poseable arms and legs, replaceable arm stuff etc. You can even make the Octo suit sit down without tipping over. I'd say this was an even better purchase than any of the gups, apart from maybe the multi function big red Gup-X. We haven't yet seen the Octo suit featured in the series or any books but I can only imagine the joy of when it eventually is. I would even recommend getting this before any gups for someobe just starring out with Octonauts. It's fun and versatile!
