Audio-Technica ATW-801/H-T8 Wireless Headworn Microphone System

We have been struggling to find a wireless headset to record fitness classes that will jive with iPhone. We've tried every possible set up and are still having feedback. The mic cuts out occasionally in addition to cracking and fuzz sounds. I'm disappointed that I cannot return this item. I have followed the instructions in terms of removing nearby metal, keeping distance from the walls, making sure the transmitter and receiver are within view. Moving on to the Shure brand. Just tested out a friend's and it seems to work much better.

I ordered this mic for my wife who leads worship at church. She tried it at home, then at church on Sunday. It really rocks! First thing I noticed is the high quality of the sound: clear, no noises, no interferences; and for this price, she is enjoying the convenience of going wireless. So, buy with confidence, you won't regret it.Note for indoors use: occasionally, fluorescent tubes and bulbs can cause the receiver to pick some noise, so be aware of that and make the necessary adjustments in the room you are performing, if possible.

I had to return this. Couldn't get it to work without cutting out often.

Not your typical headset - gets worn like a head band - not around the back of your hear like most wireless headsets made for fitness professionals. The photo is very deceptive regarding this.

I'm in heaven. A dynamic microphone makes all the difference in the world. I do presentations on honey bees frequently in auditoriums, cafeterias, meeting halls with no A-V support. My outside voice got hoarse frequently which really took the fun out of what I do. So I got a 400 watt portable PA system & this wireless mic/transmitter. I admit I tried to do this on the cheap & it was horrible. Breathing was constantly audible, I had to eat the mic to keep it in range, every P sound was a mini explosion of sound. The System 8 took care of all my problems, was crystal clear & gave me the ability to work a room during hands-on demonstrations. The headset is a little tight but at-least I don't have to worry about it falling off and the only way I'd get a more comfortable fit is to wear ear muffs. My advice, VHF was just fine before UHF and Dynamic mics blow Crystal mics away. So unless you will be suspended by wires over the crowd in an arena, do it right the first time get this one.

As a new instructor I was advised that this was the best around. Its great set up was easy and had no problems with it
