I have been using these for a while now and have found that they are totally unreliable.Despite taking all the usual precautions while weighing, they are very hit and miss with how accurate it is. I've stood on it five times in a row and had five different readings within a few minutes.If you are slimming or sensitive about your weight, I would find a different set of scales. I will be returning to a mechanical set myself.

After using them for a couple of weeks as well as a standard set of scales I realised how inconsistent the weight measurement was. I ended up testing them on 3 different surfaces (two tiled and one solid wood floor) and got 3 different readings with a range of 4lb. Therefore, I might as well stand on my doormat and guess my weight! Its a shame because if they worked they would be a nice set of scales. I am returning them.

Does exactly what it says it will and for the price I reckon they're pretty darn good. Leave them in one place(a hard flat surface and NOT carpet!!) don't move them about and you'll have no problems whatsoever.I belong to a well known slimming group (not weight watchers) & these scales give me the same weight as I get in group every week.Highly recommended.

Works very well, although I had to get my partner to help me understand how to set it up to begin with. He pushed a button and it did the rest of the work. I then cut out the biscuits...

I have been using this for a couple of days now. It's pretty good but the readings are not always totally accurate or concurrent. For example, one day I weighed 3 whole kilos more than the last. Which is a gain of over 6lbs in one night. But by the end of the day it told me I was back down to the original weight. I usually have to take a number of readings before judging roughly which the right one probably is.It's usually, generally right. I'd recommend based on general use and value for money.

Didn't like not having adjustment on feet. My bathroom is all bumps. Foot fell off when someone slid it across floor and now it's done. Tiny wires in foot prevented me from repairing it, but it worked well while it was intact.

Was initially quite happy with the scale. Have used it for about three years. Currently, I am having issues with it. The scale does not turn on properly and requires me to take out the battery and reinsert in order to use. Has become a nuisance now. I am guessing they're made to only last a few years.

much better than a simple weighing scale. you can track your fat, muscle and hydration so you can see the variation if you stick with your plan/diet. bone mass seems a constant based on height/sex however. downside is it takes ages to cycle through the measurements and once it's in a cycle it won't stop - so if you don't get on the scales just right it will take a full minute before it resets and lets you try again
