Yamaha Powered Electric Start 3100PSI Gas Pressure Washer

I like the electric start, but the battery doesn't have much power. I can't start it with pull cord, tried a bunch. When it runs, it works great! Once again I'm waiting for the battery to charge to try to start it again. Purchased new, I'd recommend one that starts easier.

This pressure washer has been working great for me for the pass 3 years. I only use it around the house and usually only once or twice a year but when I do run it, I really run the guts out of it and it hasn't failed me so far. I pressure wash all the concrete driveways and walkways and other things around this house and living in Hawaii, this area gets a lot of mildew and moss on the walkways, house siding and walls. I run this washer with my son for 6 to 7+ hours at a time for 2 or 3 days in a row, we take shifts washing so this machine is working alot and it has never failed. Sometimes maybe the battery needs a recharge from starting it too many times but we usually pull the cord and it fires up on one pull. I fixed my old Honda pressure washer that blew a rocker arm in half, cam gear shattered and timing belt. So I had that one for 21 years so hoping this Yamaha will go the same distance or longer. This Yamaha is a 3100 so it's a little stronger than my old 2400 Honda. GREAT MACHINE and as a mechanic and worked with all of the Japanese brand small engines, motocross bikes, weedwhackers, lawnmowers and so on. I with stay with the Japanese brands until they prove to me that they aren't reliable anymore but I don't think that will happen.. Maintenance is always the KEY in keeping your power equipment working great all of the time!

This is a great power washer but as others stated the fuel tank is kind of small. It has great power and cleans very well but be sure to use some type of cleaner as a softener on tough jobs before, hence the on board soap/cleaner tank. Be sure to shop around since I was able to find mine much cheaper through brick and mortar store in local area.

Easy start, could use a little bigger battery, bigger fuel tank, but has plenty of power, does a good job.
