Crystal Growing Kit – Grow Stunning White Crystals (Includes Real Quartz)!

My granddaughters had fun 'growing' their crystals, but it would have been more fun if they grew larger. Many of the finials were very tiny and most just 'hugged' the growing medium. We still had a good time waiting for them to grow, and we actually left them for about two weeks on their own. Would definitely try it again and it's a nice gift that actually gets kids to think about nature. Great for anyone interested in crystals or rocks.

Kinda worked in the end save your money and go drive to find real crystals

Worked like a charm for us. My five year old son loved it. Only one problem, and maybe someone smarter than I can help - we grew our crystals in a glass jar, and my son wants to get the crystals out of the jar, sort of in a large chunk. Anyone have any ideas on how to do that safely?

The crystals are still growing and everything is happening as advertised. Don't know how large they'll get, but already nicely sized and well defined. I ordered the clear color because from the description of the colored ones, I was concerned that the solution was so intensely colored it would obscure the crystals during their growth, and watching them grow every day is a big part of the experience, inspiring curiosity about how they can grow while keeping their characteristic geometry. In any case, the clear ones are growing well and have the advantage of looking like the clear quartz crystals in the included rock sample (and from geodes we cracked, also from Amazon), yet having a different geometry, illustrating that similar crystals can grow in different environments and over dramatically different time scales, look similar, yet differ in detailed shape. I don't know how big they'll grow, or whether we'll be able to get them out of the solution intact for long-term display.We are getting just the results expected, and are quite pleased.

Was okay. Crystals wer very small and looked like dusty salt but still a good experiment for the kids.

Daughter really liked it, although our crystals never grew. It came with a cool crystal that she loves, and the booklets were informative.

Gave it as a gift and they where happy. What else can you as for?

The instructions were lacking and unclear. It didn't produce any crystals for us, I may have done it wrong but There's no way to know with the extremely limited directions

Not really a whole lot to say - the pictures show for themselves the results. We followed the instructions exactly and it just ended up being a mess.. really expected something more in between the photos on the box and what we ended up with.
